TOP 10 SPRING MANICURE IDEAS
Nails are treated like little pieces of art this season. If you want your manicure to be fashionable, it has to refer to paintings, nature and modern technology. Are you bored with classic red hybrid nails? Would you like to have a break from black and white? Check my ideas for spring manicure. I’m going to test them all using Provocater nailpolishes.
1. CHEWING GUM LIKE SPACE DUST
Pink is the color that has been dominating the catwalks for many seasons now. It appeared in the SS Balenciaga, Valentino and Celine collections. Sweet shades of all kinds of candies are also a hit when it comes to nails, especially when it comes to… texture. “Space Dust” is available in Provocater’s stock. I like to combine pastel dust with a patterned miniskirt or a Chanel style tweed jacket.
2. W STYLU MONDRIANA
Modern Piet Mondrian paintings like manicure is an idea that I saw on an Opening Ceremony catwalk. How is it done? All you need to do is paint graphic color stains, colors that do not match one another (like black, red, yellow, and blue). Relax – Provocater offers as many as 90 shades, so you have a lot to choose from 😀 Such nails will look great combined with a color blocking look (HERE you’ll find what I have in mind ;) ).
Orange is the second (right after pink) hottest color of the season. It’s never been so in as it is now. Paint all your nails in the shade of a juicy mandarin, and increase the temperature by red (on one nail, for example) or contrast with cool white. Wear it with all looks, even those with jeans. If you’re a typical DIY girl, try do do your nails… at home! You can get a professional but user friendly Provocater starter kit!
4. CHAMELEON LIKE
When you were a child, did you dream about a ring with a stone which color changes according to your mood or sunlight? Now you can totally achieve that on your… nails. Provocater offers three shades of hybrid nailpolishes (88, 89, 90) that dynamically change their color according to the temperature around it 😉 It’s something for you, if you get bored easily 😀
5. PRECIOUS METALS
Do you remember the spectacular Gigi Hadid’s manicure at the MET gala? Metellic shine is still in – now it’s worn in a more fresh and sparkling edition. You’ll achieve such an outcome by using a special Provocater dust. Ready for brave solutions? Apply it on white nails and wear it with a metallic purse and sandals.
6. A NEW DIMENSION OF FRENCH
A classic French manicure? A nail painted with half-transparent pastel nailpolish and nailendings touched by a bit of white. There’s no place for boredom this season – hands need to amaze and get everyone’s attention 😉 Have a regular French manicure done in a bit more original version. Apply some beige and white nailpolish, but not horizontally – go for a vertical version (use paper tape to help you). Provocater polishes have a nice and thick formula that makes your nails perfectly covered – only one layer will make you totally satisfied 😉
7. NAILS IN A FRAME
What would you say to say goodbye to old habits and create something that you’ve never seen on your nails? 😉 One of my favorite and original ideas is a contrasting or a metallic frame around a fair nail. A combination of pastel peach with indigo or beige with gold are my favorite. If you crave for a WOW effect, combine the polish with a shiny dust.
8. DISCO STYLE: HOLO EFFECT
Is holo effect still a new thing for you? Make up for it asap! There’s a great chance this season, as a rainbow shiny nail is a total hit of the season. I’m going to tease a little here and wear them with hippie skirts. Holo effect is totally new in Provocater’s collection! 😉
9. MODERN OMBRE
Make-up artists and hairdressers are totally amazed by sensual ombre. Now it’s time for nail artists to show what they can do. Such a manicure can be done in two ways: paint each nail with a darker shade of the same nailpolish, or go for a spring 3.2 Phillip Lim fashion show like effect. Models wore silver nails that look as if it was rubbed into snow white polish. Tres chic!
10. BLING, BLING
Not only rings and bracelets decorate womens’ hands, but also… precious manicure. Apply base first (Base Hard with vitamin E by Provocater will protect the nail from damage and make the nailpolish last longer), then paint your nails with hybrid nailpolish, and glue some shiny stickers on top. It’s a great option not only for the evening! Such nails can be easily worn even on a daily basis, with a regular jacket.
